The software is the same either way, with no locked features and no "pro" version. A licence buys only the right to use Ontiqo at work.
Free for personal use
Use Ontiqo on as many of your own computers as you like, for your own things, with no time limit and nothing switched off. If that is you, you do not need a licence and should not buy one.
How does it tell personal from work? It doesn't try. No nag screen, no watermark, nothing held back and nothing that reports on you. A work licence is an honest arrangement: if Ontiqo is doing a job for an organisation, the organisation pays for it.
Not released yet — nothing can be bought
Ontiqo is still being tested, so you can't buy a licence yet. The prices are here so you can read the terms in advance. Ask to be told when it ships →
A one-time purchase. No subscription, no expiry, no renewal. Activating needs the internet once. After that Ontiqo rechecks the licence now and then, and keeps working if it can't reach the licensing service. No file content is sent either time.
Refunds within 30 days, no questions asked. A merchant of record will handle checkout and receipts, and will be named here before anything goes on sale. Purchase problems: open a ticket.
A licence covers use for work.
If Ontiqo is used for a business, an employer, a not-for-profit, an educational institution, or a government or public body, every computer it runs on needs to be covered.
